      An essay is presented in which the author discusses her trip to Italy with her friend Paul. They went to the extinct city Pompeii, Rome, Milan and Florence where the author liked the architecture, art, food, and song but could not bear the heat. So she and Paul went to Verona, where the whether was much cooler. She further shares her experience related to Verona's landscape, interaction with people over there as well as their experience while swimming in a lake.
