      The article looks at the state of the business of dress pattern producers in the U.S. as of February 1935. Based on estimates, the industry rose ahead of 1933 by about 10 percent in 1934. It is noted that pattern makers bought models from Paris, France for copy and inspiration, reflecting a focus on styling. A fashion show was held by pattern maker McCall Co., displaying 40 dresses.
