      The article discusses ways to assess executive talent to get the desired productivity from them. Information on a survey on Canadian organizations is presented. It suggests tools to assess the performance of an executive which includes holding interviews and having psychometric tests. It is suggested that while assessing people for key positions one must not rely on one tool, but check for built-in biases. A case study on the employee assessment at Hydro Ottawa Ltd is presented.
