The article offers information on a survey involving cases of motor accidents in New York state in 1925. Based on the survey results, there were 47,128 accidents during the year, in which 1,981 people were killed and 54,398 injured. The accidents mainly occurred in straight, level, dry and hard roads. The accidents involved mainly pleasure cars, followed by trucks and taxicabs.
