    • Abstract:
The article discusses biodiversity in vineyards. Some benefits of non-crop plants to vineyards are reduction in variable costs and support for wine tourism. Valuable ecosystem services (ES) are identified, such as soil formation, pollination, biological control and carbon capture. The relationship between ES and biodiversity is also examined. Factors that can boost biodiversity are shelter, alternative prey, pollen and nectar.
