The article reports that Maya Lin, renowned designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., visited Sterling Technologies Inc. in Lake City. According to Lin, Sterling Technologies is rotomolding parts for what she calls the Listening Cone, part of her science-based artwork known as "What is Missing?" It is stated that Listening Cones will play sound and video around the world that highlight the threats to biodiversity.
