    • Abstract:
The article discusses the requirement that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) issued to all automobile manufacturers to install a Machiavellian system in every manufactured car for safety purposes. It states that DOT issued before a warning system but failed because the system can be easily eluded while the new interlock system prompted 60 percent of drivers and front seat passengers to buckle up before traveling. It notes that people who wear seat belts are less likely to experience automobile deaths and injuries than those who do not while top automobile industry executives suggest to pass a legislation in every state to make it a punishable offense to be untrussed in a car.
