      The article presents a message from the president of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM). She reiterates the association's vision of making acupuncture and oriental medicine accessible to the American public by 2014. She mentions that the association's lobbyist Sam Brunelli has spoken to U.S. President Barak Obama to gain his support for acupuncture and oriental medicine. Efforts to push for legislation on six remaining states for the licensure of practitioners are discussed.
