The article focuses on the status of the U.S. citizens' wealth as tackled by the aspiring political leaders in the U.S. in their political plans. It mentions that Jimmy Carter has already dealt with the issue concerning the wealth receive by some of the Americans through unfairly-on tax loopholes as well as the lobbyists who broaden and conserve such ambiguities. Meanwhile, Gerald Ford pampers in the resort habits of the wealthy and loves the luxuries of the White House such as Camp David and Air Force One. It says that since 1929 money has been the basis of the choosing of a prime political target based on the notions and ideals given by notable people such as Lord Beaverbrook, Calvin Coolidge, and Franklin Roosevelt.
