    • Abstract:
The article focuses on the alleged investments of environmental establishments on the companies that they mainly criticize. It states that there are many organizations among environmentalists which aim to increase their income through their investment in the companies they mostly disapprove. It mentions that the stock investments of the environmental organizations Sierra Club and Sierra Club Foundation include securities of several companies including General Motors Corp., Weyerhaeuser Co., and Exxon Corp. It says that the Environmental Defense Fund (E.D.F.) also have investment in Exxon. However, E.D.F. Berkeley director Tom Graff argues that they cannot make investment in those companies which makes beneficial things out of environment.
