Andreĭ Vladimirovich Rimskiĭ-Korsakov (On his 100th birthday).

The article presents a biography of Russian acoustic scientist A.V. RimskiC; Korsakov. He was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on August 29, 1910, into a family of prominent diplomats, scientists and musicians. He received his education at the Leningrad Conservatory and the Polytechnical Institute. In 1932, he began his career in science and engineering. He helped in the creation of an electric musical instrument called the Emiriton, and also made several contributions to his subject also.
