      The article looks at how mobile Internet access will influence the countries of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and Indonesia (BRICI). Examples of how the economics of BRICI countries will benefit from wireless communications are presented. The author assumes that most poor people from BRICI countries will use the Internet through their mobile telephones, since many cannot afford a personal computer.
