      The article provides information on the Content Lifecycle Integration Framework (CLIF) project that was set up to look at a real-world problem. It reveals that the project uses three systems to examine the lifecycle of digital content including the Fedora digital repository system, the Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server (MOSS) and Sakai. It also notes the significance of preserving the digital content most especially when already stored.
