    • Abstract:
The inhibition activity of α-glucosidase on 10 halophytes had been studied preliminarily. Among 70% ethanol extracts, potent inhibitory activity was showed in Limoium gmelinii (Willd.) Kuntz. The IC50 value was 1.77mg/mL. Among the H2O extracts, potent inhibitory activities were showed in Reaumuria soongonica (PalL) Maxim., Tamarix ramosissima Lbd. and Karelinia caspia (Pall.) Less.. The IC50 values of them were 2.53, 1.21, 1.52mg/mL respectively. A part of 10 halophytes exhibited certain potent inhibitory activity of α-glucosidase. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
