- Abstract:
This article presents the author's reflections on the meaning of life, religious belief, and existential anxiety. Topics addressed include the difference between confronting the anxiety of daily living and the more existential issue of finding the meaning of life, the nature of communicating with God, and the nature of perceiving being. Poetry by several authors including William Butler Yeats, George Herbert and D. H. Lawrence are cited to illustrate the author's points on the transcendent nature of life and thinking about it.
