- Abstract:
The article provides tips on how to control strawberry root weevils which destroy strawberries, mint, raspberries, and rhododendrons. Plant roots and crowns are eaten by larvae. Plants can be mowed down like grass, exposing the crowns to sun. Parasitic nematodes can also be applied to cope with root weevils. Two-foot fabric barriers can be erected around new beds.
