    • Abstract:
The article presents the views of several wildlife rehabilitators regarding the issue of providing live prey to predators before they are released. Rebecca Dmytryk of WildRescue thinks the act of placing live food in a predator's enclosure is part of the professional rehabilitation process. Caryn Goron of the Wildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center notes that they use live prey for juveniles at their facility, however, they do not use live animals admitted for rehabilitation as live prey.
