      The article presents an overview of the advantages and disadvantages that are associated with downloadable audiobooks that are offered by libraries. A discussion of an increase which has been seen in the sales of downloadable audiobooks and has been reported by the Audio Publishers Association and the audiobook provider OverDrive, is presented.
