      The article discusses ways in protecting computer software. Among the noted ways are the determination of what is protectable, the filing of a patent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in procurement of patent protection, and the selection of a person well versed in the law. Certain limitations of the copyright, which is used to protect software, are also discussed.
