Appropriate Placement and Long-Term Care Health Planning.

The author reflects on the appropriate placement of persons into the long-term care health care planning for the sick, which will depend on the efforts of clinicians and researchers to specify the service and environmental arrangements that will enable individuals at various levels of need to achieve an optimal state of functioning. Several studies were conducted to address the issue. In relation, an overview of the Brody and Masciocchi and the Foley and Schneider report are offered.
