- Abstract:
The article analyzes religious arguments against homosexuality, including that it is unnatural, that sex should be for procreation only, and that it is dangerous. It compares sexual behavior with eating and wonders why sex is moralized while gastronomic exploration is considered normal. It traces prehistoric and Biblical changes in gender roles and historically conditioned categories and finds that modern moralists are stuck in a previous agrarian mentality.
