    • Abstract:
The author encourages artists in the U.S. to maximize the benefits that they can get from the introduction and implementation of the U.S. Copyright Act of 1976. The law reportedly establishes the exclusive rights of artists to distribute as well as reproduce their copyrighted masterpieces. According to the author, copyright's duration has been prolonged to the life of the artist or the creator plus half a century, given that an artwork was done on or after January 1, 1978.
