The article reports on the stabilization of the employment sector in the U.S. Specialty clothing retailers expanded payrolls by 5,300 to employ 1.38 million and department stores cut 600 jobs to employ 1.48 million people. Scott Hoyt, senior director of consumer economics with Moody's Economy.com., says that the trend is far better than can be seen even through the end of 2009. In the manufacturing sector, textile mills cut 1,000 positions for employing 121,800 people.
