"There's Humor and There's Tears": An Interview with Sondra Perl.

An interview with English professor Sondra Perl of the Lehman College in New York is presented. When asked on to what certain degree is her work to be considered feminist, she does not characterize her work as feminist but as humanist. She mentioned that there is a close relations between teaching of writing and feminism. She stated that no one had ever influenced her to write when she was young, and she had found her passion to write when she was in college.
