      Prezentarea coordonatelor generale de derulare ale auditului resurselor umane reprezintă un punct deosebit de important în procesul auditării funcţiunii de resurse umane. Prin ilustrarea şi prezentarea ciclului PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act), conducerea unui program de audit, indiferent de natura acestuia, şi efectele programului de audit, pot fi urmărite şi aplicate cu succes şi pentru conducerea unui audit de resurse umane. Un program de audit de resurse umane trebuie să planifice tipul auditurilor aflate într-o strânsă interdependenţă: auditul persoanei, auditul comportamentului, auditul performanţei, auditul potenţialelor, funcţie de obiectivele urmărite, să identifice şi să furnizeze resursele necesare pentru a-l efectua.
