    • Abstract:
The article discusses the effects of increasing carbon dioxide (CO2) levels on the botanical composition grasslands, farms and urban landscapes. Ecologists Wayne Polley and Philip Fay have created time tunnels used to expose grasses and other plants to varying CO2 levels at different time frames. According to Polley, plants are less sensitive per unit of CO2. Meanwhile, plant physiologist Jack Morgan found that high CO2 levels are favoring cool-season grasses.
