- Abstract:
The article presents information on the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) conference held in Doha, Qatar in November 2009. The summit was established by the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development to focus on different education models that can be used globally. Subjects discussed included the role of nongovernmental organizations and schools in education, the protection of schools during conflicts and access to educational technology. INSET: Project Nanhi Kali Honored at Summit.
