      The article reports on the renovation Kluane Lake Research Station (KLRS) in Yukon. It states that the research station will get a 3.4 million dollar make-over after decades of band-aid improvements. It notes that KLRS is one of the 20 research projects spreading across 37 sites that benefit from an 85 million dollar investment by the federal government in upgrading Canada's northern-research infrastructure. It adds that the renovation include new kitchen/cafeteria, powerhouse and showers.
