The article reports on the flat domestic rebar prices in Malaysia in November 2009 due to weak demand, according to sources. Rebar prices range from 1,950 to 2,100 ringgit per tonne according to Malaysian mills and traders. Low demand is partly attributed to rains that resulted to a slowdown in construction projects. The article predicts an increase in demand in January 2010.
