The article offers the author's views on the advantages of big government in the U.S. He cites that big or strong government helps the U.S. act of global power, interests, and advance issues that are crucial to the country's identity. He states that the country helped save the world from Germany and Japan in 1940, and from Germany in the Cold War due to the strong government policy it developed. He believes that a state needs a strong military support in order to act as a great power.
