- Abstract:
A biography of mathematician John Von Neumann is presented. He was born on December 28, 1903 in a wealthy Hebrew family. He studied chemistry at the University of Berlin and completed his diploma in chemical engineering from the Technische Hochschule in Zurich, Switzerland in 1926. His several contributions to economics include the "Theory of Games and Economic Behavior" and " A Model of General Economic Equilibrium." He had also received two presidential awards in the U.S.
