The article focuses on U visa, otherwise known as visa for undocumented immigrant crime victims in the U.S. It notes that the visa prohibits the deportation of people like the abused if they cooperate with law enforcement. Further, it highlights the case of Rati Sud, an abused woman who immigrated to the country after her marriage in 2005 on an H4 visa.
