    • Abstract:
The article presents the study conducted by Stanford University researcher Carla Shatz and her colleagues regarding the immune connection of the brain in Palo Alto, California. The researchers have used mice aiming to determine the linked between the strengthening and breaking of the neurons during brain development. The study shows that the two family members of the proteins major histocompatibility complex class I (MHCI) limit the function of the circuitry which involved in the visual processing.
