      The article reports on a study that determines the efficacy of liraglutide, the latest incretin drug for diabetes. According to the study, 76% of people lost more than 5% of body weight with highest dose of liraglutide, compared with 30% of those on placebo and 44% of those on orlistat. The research found that a daily liraglutide injection is better at promoting weight loss than orlistat and placebo, alongside diet and exercise.
