- Abstract:
The article discusses research on the manufacture of lab-on-a-chip systems on large microchip made of PolyShrink, a heat-shrinkable polymer. It references a 2009 study by Christophe Marquette and colleagues from Claude Bernard University in Lyon, France. In the study, the researchers were able to shrink a 230-micrometer-square biochip into 100-micrometers square. Also mentioned are results of some tests done on the chip.
