- Abstract:
The article focuses on the changes in the landscape of Tibet, China caused by globalization. It states that Tibet has been modernizing since the early 1950s, and the land cannot keep up with the change in technology and economy that requires more from it. It notes that changes in Tibet include utilization of resources, construction of roads, and tourism development. It also says that the pace of improvement of the lives of Tibetans is slower than the impairment of the landscape of Tibet.
