      The article presents information on a blood cell analyser being developed by the University of Southampton, Southampton, England. The analyser is based on microfluidics and cell-by-cell impedance analysis. It is stated that this fluidic chip allows blood to be analysed with almost the same accuracy as a laboratory.The fluid passages and electrodes are inside a stamp-sized glass-epoxy assembly, and detection of blood occurs through two electrode pairs along a channel in which liquid flows.
