      The article focuses on the aspect of classification of folktales which is referred as folksonomy. It explores on the two standard general folktales about folksonomies as a classification system. It also offers an overview of some of the benefits and useful characteristics of taxonomies. It asserts that folksonomies should never have been compared with taxonomies. It also suggests that folksonomies are interesting but not too revolutionary.
