    • Abstract:
The article assesses the usefulness of exhaled nitric oxide (ENO) in predicting the response to inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) therapy in subjects with chronic cough. It also determines the relationship between adenosine 5' -monophosphate (AMP) responsiveness and the response to ICS therapy. It was found that a significant proportion of the patients respond well to ICS therapy. However, these patients cannot be identified by ENO levels or AMP responsiveness at baseline.
