The article focuses on the importance of Twitter microblogging in selling goods and services in San Francisco, California. It explores the author's experience of tracking a street vendor who is selling Thai curries, chamboard-flavored créme brulee and handheld fruit pies using Twitter as a point of contact to the customers. It highlights the lessons that can be learned from street vendors, especially in dealing face-to-face marketing and approaches in capturing their customers.
