      The article presents an interview with woman painter Allison Schulnik. She explained that her characters are based in reality, but she thinks it is impossible not to adapt into the characters. She said that she has a love/hate relationship with oil paint. She hates the toxicity of the paint, but acrylic doesn't have the texture, the colour and the butteriness of oil paint.
