    • Abstract:
The article reports on research results on life scientists' internet use that was published in August 2009 by the U.S. National Bureau of Economic Research, which found that it acts as an equalizer for the field. Waverly W. Ding, who is an assistant professor of business at the University of California at Berkeley, led the study. The data used for their research is discussed. It was found that scientists had greater publishing productivity because of their use of the internet than did others.
