      The article offers news brief related to student advocacy in the U.S. The students of communication sciences and disorders (CSD) was encouraged by the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) to participate in grassroots advocacy initiatives. The annual legislative breakfast in Ohio was sponsored by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Governmental Affairs Coalition (OSHGAC). The Oklahoma Speech-Language- Hearing Association (OSHA) held an annual brownies and ice cream reception.
