    • Abstract:
The article discusses the implication of the move of the Ohio National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Ohio Environmental Council to develop a statewide Environmental Justice Policy. It states that the development of the said environmental justice policy was an energizing process which allows people to talk about their community issues and to identify common problems. According to Lois Gibbs of the U.S. Center for Health, Environment & Justice (CHEJ), it is esssential to talk to people about their daily problems.
