      The article discusses the results of the test conducted on the third-generation (3G) wireless services being offered by AT&T, Sprint and Verizon across the U.S. during March and April 2009. The Ixia ixChariot testing software was used to measure the speed and reliability of the networks. Based on the results, Verizon's network had the fastest average download speed of all the major carriers. In addition, it states the network demonstrated good reliability, operating at a reasonable and uninterrupted speed at the testing locations.
