The article discusses the application of authority control in a multilingual catalogue presented at the 71th IFLA General Conference and Council hosted by the World Library and Information Congress on August 14-18, 2005 in Oslo, Norway. It explores the electronic catalogue of the Russian State Library (RSL). It offers techniques for control and connection of headings in electronic catalogue.
