      The article focuses on the impact of multiple sclerosis (MS) symptoms on the ability of the patient to drive on his or her own and the options available to MS patients in terms of driving. It relates the challenges encountered by some patients at the onset of MS symptoms. It advises MS patients to go through a driving evaluation with a professional who can make an assessment of both their cognitive and physical capabilities to determine if they can still be capable of driving. It suggests tapping the services of a driving rehabilitation specialist.
