    • Abstract:
EVERY Broadway producer wants a show that will draw big crowds to the box office. But how do you attract those crowds if your show is in a theater several blocks away from the throng of tourists in Times Square? Faced with a location problem, the producers of ''Shrek the Musical,'' which is housed in the Broadway Theater on Broadway between 52nd and 53rd Streets, cast their eyes southward and saw a steady stream of shoppers packing the M&M's World store on 48th Street. With its towering outdoor LED screens facing Times Square and three floors of retail space swarming with tourists, M&M's World looked like an attractive partner for ''Shrek the Musical.''
