    • Abstract:
The article reports on a study which examines the natural durability of Bambusa balcoon, B. bambos, B. nutans, Dendrocalamus giganteus, and D. strictus. The researchers have used copper-chrome-boron (CCB) at 4% concentration and four methods of treatment such as Boucherie, VAC-FRI, Wick, and Diffusion. The study revealed that none of the species is durable in ground contact. The study also showed that Wick process performed best among the treatment methods applied.
