This article focuses on a tribute to country musician George Strait. On May 27, 2009 the Academy of Country Music awarded Strait as the Artist of the Decade in a tribute concert that aired on the television network CBS. "People" magazine gathered 21 country musicians to pose in a photograph with Strait on April 6, 2009.
